(Seattle, WA, Wednesday, July 29, 2020) – The Pandemic Action Network is launching #WorldMaskWeek to inspire everyone, everywhere to wear masks to slow the spread of COVID-19. World Mask Week will take place August 7-14 with activities across the globe and on social media.
The Pandemic Action Network is composed of experienced leaders in global advocacy, policy and communications based around the world who are committed to ensuring the world is better prepared for pandemic threats. It also works with individuals to ensure that they know how to protect themselves and their community. The Pandemic Action Network serves as a hub for coordinated global policy and advocacy efforts and expert global communications efforts to halt future pandemics, as well as fight COVID-19. Their partners include representatives from international institutions, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), philanthropies and the private sector.
