15,165 impacted vehicles have been repaired since the warning was issued, thousands more to be completed

(Auburn Hills, MI, Friday, May 19, 2023) – In November 2022, FCA US LLC issued an urgent warning to owners and custodians of certain older model vehicles with unrepaired defective driver-side air bags to stop driving these vehicles and to immediately schedule a free recall repair. Impacted vehicles include model-year 2005-2010 Dodge Magnum, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300. Since the warning was issued, thousands of owners or drivers of impacted vehicles have had their air bags replaced, yet 258,762 impacted vehicles remain unrepaired. Free replacement driver-side air bags have been available for this population since 2015.
