Too many people in this country die each year from problems related to pregnancy or delivery complications. Every death is a tragedy, especially when we know 80% of pregnancy-related deaths could be prevented. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s Division of Reproductive Health is committed to healthy pregnancies and deliveries for each person.

CDC’s Hear Her campaign supports efforts to prevent pregnancy-related deaths by sharing potentially life-saving messages about urgent warning signs.

Everyone has a role to play in preventing pregnancy-related deaths. The Hear Her campaign encourages spouses, partners, friends, and healthcare providers to listen if pregnant or postpartum people say something doesn’t feel right. Recognizing the urgent maternal warning signs and getting care immediately can help save lives.

This public service campaign features compelling personal stories from people of diverse backgrounds who have experienced severe pregnancy-related complications.

We hope you will help amplify the Hear Her message whenever airtime is available throughout the year. The PSAs below are evergreen; there is no end date.
