(Long Beach, CA, Tuesday, October 8, 2019) – Californians who are eligible for both Medicare and Medi-Cal want to make an informed choice when selecting health insurance coverage, but deciding on the best plan among many options isn’t easy or straightforward.

The SCAN Foundation’s MyCareMyChoice.org helps people with Medicare and Medi-Cal choose health care coverage based on what matters to them, such as whether the plan helps with transportation or provides help coordinating different health services. The website helps people narrow available plan options by asking site visitors up to 10 key questions, then filtering options based on location.

Ryan MacDonald from My Care, My Choice explains this online tool.
