(Washington, D.C., Thursday, September 2, 2021) – The Food and Drug Administration’s announcement that the Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine is fully approved creates an opportunity for businesses to strengthen workplace vaccine policies and build confidence in it among hesitant workers.
Employers are taking advantage of this opportunity to implement vaccine requirement policies, deduct paychecks of unvaccinated employees, and provide paid time off for employees and their families to get vaccinated—to name just a few steps they’re taking.
