The United States Mint is excited to announce a historic collaboration with Warner Brothers Discovery Global Consumer Products to launch a new coin and medal series celebrating comic book art as a uniquely American artform, featuring DC comic book characters.
Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman are the first three DC Super Heroes to launch the coin and medal series, releasing in the summer of 2025. Now through Sunday, August 11, the U.S. Mint invites the public to vote for the additional six DC Super Heroes they would like included in this special series.
Public participation ensures that this multi-year series represents and reflects the most beloved of the DC Super Heroes.
The U.S. Mint has a long tradition of producing coins and medals that honor American values, icons and significant moments in history. This alliance with DC acknowledges the role of comic in reinforcing American ideals.
