(Washington D.C., Wednesday, February 13, 2019) – With the 116^th Congress now gaveled in and agendas being set, there are several important priorities that the new Congress will need to tackle in 2019.

• Domestic priorities:
  1. Reform Immigrant Detention;
  2. Address Gun Violence;
  3. Address Climate Change: Price on Carbon legislation.
• International priorities:
  1. Ending US support for the war in Yemen;
  2. Repealing the 2001 AUMF (Authorization for Use of Military Force);
  3. Reducing Pentagon budget/military spending.
