(Portland, OR, Wednesday, February 13, 2019) – Portland General Electric announced an agreement with NextEra Energy Resources to build a first-of-its-scale facility in North America, which will integrate wind generation, solar generation and battery storage to create an improved zero-emissions resource, accelerating Oregon’s transition to clean energy. This project will be a model for cutting emissions while maintaining a reliable energy grid and shows what the future of renewable power looks like.
