Digestive Disease Week showcases more than 5,000 abstracts submitted from around the world.
Some of the key abstracts presented this year include:
- What’s the relationship between the microbiome and food allergies? Which affects which? – presented by Dr. Alessio Fasano, Director of the Center for Celiac Research at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children
- Research on how lean patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease may have poorer prognoses than obese patients – presented by Dr. Paul Angulo, Professor of Medicine and Section Chief of Hepatology in the Division of Digestive Diseases and Nutrition at the University of Kentucky Medical Center
