Dear PSA Director,

GulfCorps is a program supported with funds from the BP oil spill. The Nature Conservancy and its partners are using those funds to restore the coast and put people back to work.

Since GulfCorps started, more than 400 jobs have been created in communities along the Gulf Coast. Young adults from each of the five Gulf states have not only found jobs, but new careers. The Program provides of range of trainings including conservation practices and job skills. Many young adults have gone on to careers in the environment, interned on Capitol Hill, and even gone on to lead some of the next generation of crew members.

We are looking for new members to join their crews Houston, Galveston, Corpus Christi, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Gulfport-Biloxi, Mobile, Pensacola, Panama City, and Apalachicola.

For more information you can visit the group’s page at www.nature.org/GulfCorps.

Please let your listeners know of this new resource by placing this PSA in heavy rotation between today and Friday, September 10, 2021.

Thank you in advance for your support.
