April 22, 2021

(Coronado, CA, Thursday, April 22, 2021) – 2021 will be a big year for climate action. Congress is actively working to decide what climate policies to push forward later this year. Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) volunteers are helping steer the conversation.

Earth Day is on Thursday, April 22, and Citizens’ Climate Lobby is asking Congress to act on climate change by putting a price on carbon. A carbon price is the single most powerful tool available to reduce America’s carbon pollution.

A strong, economy-wide price on carbon could reduce America’s carbon pollution by as much as 30% in the first five years alone, and is the single most powerful tool we have to hit net zero by 2050. Learn more from recent carbon pricing studies.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby has 181,994 supporters throughout the U.S., with a presence that covers every congressional district in the country.
