Citizens’ Climate Lobby Discusses the Right Response to a Warming Planet

March 8, 2022

(Washington, D.C., Tuesday, March 8, 2022) – Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) will be hosting the Conservative Climate Leadership Conference on March 29th and 30th in Washington D.C.

Conservatives were once undisputed champions of conservation. Citizens’ Climate Lobby believe it’s time for the political right to return to those roots. Their upcoming Conservative Climate Leadership Conference will allow attendees to hear from Republican members of Congress and other grassroots conservatives as they discuss the opportunities provided by conservative climate action.

See the list of invited speakers here.

The conference will explore and share ideas on how U.S. jobs, business, and health are impacted by climate change and can benefit from market-driven solutions. Attendees will also learn how to be a conservative climate leader in D.C. and locally.

Nate joined the CCL staff as the Conservative Outreach Coordinator in July of 2021. In this role, he provides support to conservative fellows, interns, and volunteers, while also assisting in grassroots efforts to recruit and retain individuals with right of center political perspectives. Before joining CCL, Nate was the Operations Director for Governor Larry Hogan’s campaign, where he coordinated donor relations and social media activity. Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change solutions. The organization has more than 195,000 U.S. supporters organized into 452 chapters nationwide.
