(Bethesda, MD, Thursday, February 8, 2018) – With mudslides, wildfires and a late start to the snow season, one of the nation’s most popular tourism states has had a tough go of it. But, the California hospitality industry is making a comeback and that means there are historic deals to be had.

The start of the year actually just may be the most affordable time to visit California. In Napa Valley, vineyard workers have brought in the last of the grape harvest, and wineries, tasting rooms, hotels and restaurants are all open for business.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Santa Barbara is a great place to take your significant other for a romantic getaway or extend an area business trip.

Further north, the ski season got off to a slow start.  It’s picking up now, and remember, many of the mountains are projected to be open until mid-April, May, June.  Still plenty of time to go for Spring Break.
