(Detroit, MI, Friday, May 29, 2020) – Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson mailed absentee ballot applications to all eligible Michigan voters.

All Voting is Local has worked to ensure that all Michigan voters are aware of their right to vote by mail, and the steps they need to take to do so.

Michigan voters overwhelmingly support voting by mail, but with so much misinformation being spread, voters may be feeling concerned or confused.

All Voting is Local is dedicated to helping ease this concern and are encouraging all voters to cast their ballot safely and securely.

All Voting is Local Michigan fights to eliminate needless and discriminatory barriers to voting before they happen, to build a democracy that works for us all. It is a collaborative campaigned housed at The Leadership Conference Education Fund, in conjunction with the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation; the American Constitution Society; the Campaign Legal Center and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
