Grover Norquist is president of Americans for Tax Reform, a taxpayer advocacy group he founded in 1985 at President Reagan’s request.  Mr. Norquist will be speaking at the Texas Summit: Taking a New Consensus on Immigrants and America to Congress.

Texas business, law enforcement and faith leaders are recognizing that immigrants are crucial to the state’s economy and diverse communities, and on Wednesday, February 13, they’ll gather in Austin to urge Texas’s Congressional delegation to support broad immigration reform.

The summit takes place on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Austin.

The event is being organized by the Texas Immigration Solution, a national, nonprofit, membership-based organization comprised of like-minded business and community leaders who recognize the failures of the current immigration system and the need for conservative, market-based reform.
