Improving our current health care systems is important to our country -- a process that includes providing safe, effective, efficient, timely, patient-centered and equitable care. Now, Franklin Woods Community Hospital has been honored as a finalist for the American Hospital Association-McKesson Quest for Quality Prize for leadership and innovation in quality and patient safety improvement.
Rich Umbdenstock, President and CEO of AHA, describes their award-winning program.
FRANKLIN WOODS HAS IMPRESSIVELY ALIGNED GOALS FROM A STRATEGIC LEVEL TO THE OPERATIONAL LEVEL AND THE PERSONAL LEVEL. THE HOSPITAL HAS FOCUSED ON INCORPORATING HEALING DESIGN INTO EVERY ASPECT, FROM FLOORING TO DOORS, TO COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS.
