(INTRO)

This week is National Save for Retirement Week and a survey from global reinsurer Swiss Re has revealed that Americans believe they will be working well into their golden years. In fact, 57% of Americans expect to work beyond the age of 65, 19% believe they will be working at least until the age of 70, and 12% believe they will never be in a position to retire.

George Graziani, head Longevity North America for Swiss Re, says for many Americans surveyed, 70 is the new 65 and this will require a shift in financial planning for retirement.
